RN to B.S.N. nursing program
WSU College of Nursing offers a Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN - B.S.N.) degree for new or experienced licenced practicing nurses who want to enhance their nursing career by earning their B.S.N., or for Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) students nearing graduation.
The RN - B.S.N. program builds on the RN background and includes essential course work in assessment, research, leadership and management, ethics, and community health. Advanced clinical practica bridges course work and theory with clinical practice.
The program is flexible, offering multiple study options including an online/distance option that allows nurses to continue working without having to relocate. Full-time, part-time, or individualized plans of study can be arranged with an RN - B.S.N. advisor. Clinicals are completed at a number of sites or can be arranged close to home, making the program ideal for all nursing students.
The baccalaureate degree in nursing and master's degree in nursing at Washington State University College of Nursing are accredited by the Commision on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), One Dupont Circle, NW, Suite 530, Washington, DC 20036, (202) 887-6791.
